There are more than a million cars stolen in the US every year. Auto thefts cost the insurance industry and individual car owners more than $7.5 billion annually.

StolenCar will send a description of your vehicle to its audience of registered "Tippers" in the form of an email, or wireless text message alert. Tippers will then report any information they discover about your vehicle to the police. Information about the stolen vehicle will also be available through the searchable database at the StolenCar website.

Registration is done online at www.StolenCar.com and takes just a few minutes. You need to report the theft to police first. Complete instructions for registering a stolencar are available on the StolenCar website

StolenCar will never sell or share your personal information with anyone (hyperlink: "Privacy Policy") unless required to do so by court order.

A StolenCar Tipper, who provides valuable information about a stolencar, may become eligible for cash (up to $250) and non-cash rewards.

What happens if my car is not recovered?

If you upgrade to the Premium Service and have alerts send out on your vehicle, and your vehicle is not recovered in 90-days, StolenCar will send you $22.50 worth of IDstickers for you to share with your friends and family and help to ensure that you are never again the victim of vehicle theft.
